My baby girl, Petra, was born this morning by c-section after an induction of labour which was chosen because labour was not initiating itself naturally after 30h with broken membranes and meconium. (I.e, my water broke without labour starting, the water wasn't clear, and it created a step by step cascade of interventions)
I feel good about my decision making during the process.
Petra and I are happy and healthy.
She is a breastfeeding and pooping machine!
I love her.
I'll post photos once I'm home from the hospital and can access a proper computer.
